The Secret to Abs

Everybody wants to know how to get Abs. However, not everyone wants to hear the answer. The secret is: EAT RIGHT! No matter how many sit ups you do, and no matter how many miles you run…the abs will not just appear. Now you can build your ab muscles by doing exercises with resistance and weights. This will create the blocky definition everyone wants, yet no one will see this unless the layer of fat on top is lean enough. In order to lean that fat out you must be burning more calories than you are consuming in a day. This means that you must be tracking everything that is going into your body in order to know how much you need to burn. For years I have worked out trying to reach my “Dream Body”. I ate what I thought was healthy and ran until my knees hurt, thinking this way to get results. Little did I know that I was never going to reach that body until I changed my eating habits. I wasn’t eating enough of the right foods, nor was I tracking how much I was putting into my body. Now this is when I normally loose people because no one wants to spend every day tracking what they put into their body. Overtime it becomes strenuous and kind of annoying. However, you do what it takes to get the body you want. MyFitnessPal changed everything for me. This app is absolutely awesome! All you do is you go into the app, put in your current weight, then put in your goal weight, and it will tell you how many calories you need to be consuming daily. It also has pretty much every food known to mankind in the system so all you have to do when tracking meals is type it into the search engine and it will find your food with the calories and macro information. After about four weeks of using this app I noticed a huge change in my body. Overtime tracking does get repetitive and exhausting, so my balance is I track what I eat during the week and have fun on the weekends. BALANCE is key everyone! I will post some of my favorite weighted ab exercises soon to follow up with this post! I promise if you start to track what you consume you will notice a difference. Remember nothing ever good comes easy! Consistency gets results, and balance keeps your sanity! Scroll down to see my results of tracking what I eat, along with a consistent workout schedule.
